THE EXPERTS


Neka Hafezzadeh, O.D.
Dr. Neka Hafezzadeh grew up in Niwot, Colorado. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 2009. Dr. Neka’s first optometric externship was in Guanajuato, Mexico, where she provided care to those most in need.  Additionally, she completed externships at the VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio and at the Hudson Valley VA Health Care Center in Montrose, New York, during which time she gained extensive experience diagnosing and managing such ocular diseases as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.  

Dr. Neka enjoys practicing full scope optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Colorado Optometric Association, and VOSH (Volunteering Optometric Services to Humanity). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, jogging, and volunteering within the community.

Jeffrey M. Lees
Jeff grew up in Longmont and at The Optical Centre. His mom Roseann and dad Donald opened the shop June 1, 1973. In their youth, Jeff and his older sister Ann would walk downtown after school and wait for the shop to close. Then, the family of four would dine together downtown most every Friday. Growing up, Jeff would help his dad grind lenses and make eyeglasses through his middle school and high school years. In 1988, Jeff received his Associate degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing at the Pima Institute in Tucson, Arizona. Shortly after, he was certified by The American Board of Opticianry. In his free time, Jeff enjoys family time with his wife Karen and his two stepdaughters. He also coaches competitive youth soccer, and enjoys hiking with his two golden retrievers.


Jennifer Condon

Jenn comes to The Optical Centre originally from the east coast. She loves Colorado for the mountains and the laid back atmosphere (and isn't going anywhere!). She has been in the optical field for 12 years and is a Board Certified Optician. A Jenn-of-all-trades, she is also a practicing massage therapist. She likes to constantly increase her knowledge in holistic health and massage. She loves to travel, hike, camp, and hang out with good friends.  Also, in her free time Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and their Australian Shepherd Molly.  Jenn has great skills and also adds a terrific sense of style and flair to our office.  If you are ever looking for a stellar massage therapist with cute glasses, check out her website- blessed be bodywork.

 

Kirsten Frampton

Kirsten comes to The Optical Centre with over eight years of optical experience and is an expert lab technician. Additionally she can style you into a frame that not only makes you look great, but will also work well with your Rx. When not fixing and making your glasses, Kirsten’s passion is fly-fishing and her second occupation is as a Professional Fly- Fishing Guide.   Besides fishing and optics, Kirsten loves to cook, listen to live music, hike, play outside, and spend time with her friends and redbone coonhound, Ruby.
